HI!

after a LONG absence...

Wow, how time flies! Our summer flew by and we are getting settled into our new Bible Institute building. We keep finding things thought lost, but there are several important things still missing! We KNOW they must all be in the same place!

I found an amazing price on tickets for me to go to visit the family for 2 weeks in September... it was an answer to PRAYER!! Our little princess has really grown, and she was so sweet to wait to celebrate her first birthday with Nanna!!

I forgot!

I totally forgot that I was waiting til the blanket and the baby were delivered to post pictures of this quilt! DUH!!! Talk about a 50's moment!
Our little sweetheart will soon be 6 months old... and her gramma has taken a vacation into knitting! Of course grandpa grumps said "How many sweaters does one baby need?" She's a GIRL... what more needs to be said!

Our precious little bundle is here, and home in the arms of her family! What an amazing blessing from the Lord!

Mini nearly done!

I'm not sure where the idea of 10 inches finished came from, but it measures about 7.5 inches. I did a folded border for the white one, it didn't photograph well, but looks good. I figured that was the only way I would get it that narrow!!!
The blocks are paper pieced and it was a BEAR to get the points matched to this point! It is square... I'm just not a photographer...
